Saturday, September 22nd. Sponsors “Art of Strength” & “Plant Fit” join FBF.

Angie Jameson and Amber Callahan will be waiting for FBF members as they return from their training Saturday morning.  Get ready because these ladies know how to work you out!  Do not worry – it will not be a Boot Camp (even if it may seem like one after all those miles).  Angie and Amber will lead us thru stretching and the seminar.

Here is a little bit about our sponsors:

Angie is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and also certified by Art of Strength. She has been a trainer here in Sugar Land for over 18 years and started the Art of Strength Training Center in March of this year.
She has completed 3 full marathons and 6 half marathons and looking back, wishes that she had been training with an Art of Strength gym – she knows that she could have finished stronger and faster!!

Angie believes very strongly in the AOS program and the benefits to all levels of fitness enthusiasts. Angie and AOS offer offer discounted memberships to FBF members.  She promises that you will become a stronger and faster runner/walker.

Amber Callahan has been involved in fitness for much of her adult life either through lifting weights or running.  She is a mom, wife, runner, certified personal trainer and plant based diet enthusiast. Her passion for fitness and plant based eating led her to get her personal training certification so that she can help others.  She is certified with the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and Art of Strength.  She holds a Bachelor of Science from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Master’s in Education from the University of Houston-Victoria.

In addition to training clients at Art of Strength Sugar Land, Amber also maintains a website, PlantFit (, which provides fitness and plant based eating tips including recipes, a blog and more.  She is passionate about helping others reach their goals and helping them maintain their health and fitness.

Amber has run everything from 5K’s to half marathons and will run her first marathon this October in Portland, Oregon.  Regular strength training and eating a clean diet have kept her strong and healthy as she has trained for the marathon.  Art of Strength training, in particular, has made her a stronger runner the last two years by helping her consistently run injury free and helping take almost two minutes off her 5K race pace.

Amber’s life has changed with regular exercise and eating a clean, plant based diet and she wants to help others reap the benefits.  Just look at Amber – it is possible to be strong and active, feed your family and eat a plant based diet!
